[collectd] IO usage

Hi,

I am using collectd with the network plugin as a central server for getting
stats from many collectd clients. I have 400+ clients and it seems the IO
load on the drives is very high.

Are there any recommendations on how I can optimize the collectd server so
it has less impact on the overall server load?
