[collectd] Trying to understand interval of sent stats

Hi,

I have collectd setup to send to graphite, and things are generally working great.  Now I'm trying to understand how often the various plugins are supposed to be sending data, so I can tune the graphite data store retentions correctly.  Can someone clue me in on this?
