[collectd] tail plugin problem

There's data in your file
  from 2009-01-16 20:03:10 to 2009-01-16 21:15:50,
so the plugin appears to do it's job.

How do you mean, ``nothing happens''? What did you expect to happen?

Looks like you're using the old, deprecated and not-up-to-date
collection2 script. Please take a look at the new version, which you can
find in contrib/collection3.
