RRD-files are created as needed, i. e. when some value is supposed to be
written to them. When the status-page doesn't provide scoreboard-values,
then the `apache'-plugin won't try to update the values, so the file
will not be created.

Vice versa, when reading values off of an Apache, the `connections'
won't appear anywhere..
