Are you sure there is no /usr/lib/mysql on 64 bit architectures? As far as I
understand the FHS /usr/lib64 should only contain _alternate_ binary formats.
As 64 bit systems usually run 64 bit binaries natively, libs should be put in
/usr/lib ;-)

The with-libmysql value is supposed to be a prefix, that's why adding "/lib"
and "/include" to it makes sense to look for libraries and header files. If
you can think of a more flexible way to check for it, please let us know :-)
