Hi Malte,

sorry for replying so late - your mail got stuck in the moderation
filter and I investigated your mail further only by shere luck. There
are _lots_ of ``bussiness proposals'' and the like in that filter ;) A
much better subject would have been:
  ``Proposal: Allow logging to STDERR''

I've planned to change the plugin infratructure to allow more `types' of
plugins to register in various places. One of those places could be
`logging'. There could be a `log_syslog' plugin as well as a
`log_stderr' one.

It's unlikely that I'll use your patch directly, but thank you very much
for your feedback, it has endorsed my assumption, that there is a need
for this :)
