this message means, that the plugin doesn't know how to read values on
your system. With the `apache' plugin this means that the plugin wasn't
linked against `libcurl' <http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/>. Either the
header files for libcurl are installed in a non-standard place (use
`--with-libcurl' in this case), are missing completely (install them) or
there is a bug in the build system (hopefully not ;).
