[collectd] Two improvements to collectd

Hi, Collectd community.

I have just send two PR on GitHub:

https://github.com/collectd/collectd/pull/1557  (this is bugfix of Collectd::Unixsock, not a feature)
https://github.com/collectd/collectd/pull/1558  (curl_xml improvement)

All these patches we are using in our production.

Hope they will be useful for others too.
