[collectd] Memory statistics and their details

Hallo all,

Based on the question posted on Novemeber 27, 2014 regarding memory flags in virtual machines, can I kindly request the forum to provide me directions about their definition and its usage?

Hallo all,



I currently use libvirt plugin of collectd to gather statistics of virtual resources. In this regard, collectd provides the following virtual memory flags which are memory-swap_in, memory-total, memory-rss and memory-actual_balloon. Besides memory-total, can I know the definition of other parameters and which of them represent the used memory in virtual machines?
