[collectd] Plugin MongoDB

Hello,
Could someone please help with information on plans and current status of
the  MongoDB plugin?
Seems like the last update was 2y ago (here
https://github.com/octo/collectd/commits/rc/mongodb),
and currently it's not integrated to main branch.

I would like to use such a plugin, so wandering how to proceed. If needed I
could help finishing it if it's not working yet.
