[collectd] Network-Plugin: data loss

Hello,

debugging my network setup, I noticed that some data is lost across the wire. How can I fix this?
In detail: I’ve two machines running Debian Wheezy (Server + Client). The clients pings the server (ping plugin). The data is saved client side and transmitted to the server:
Both machines are VMWare-VMs running on the same host.

Rendering the clients data I have:

Showing a „perfect“ link - no loss, small rtt

So, what happened to the data? Why is it fragmented on the server side?
The VMs are idling…
