[collectd] Java API for collectd

Hi all

I am working on plugins for collectd and I am particularily interested in
coding in java.
I installed collectd with the package manager (yum) which doesn't include
java api by default. Is there a rpm package for that (fedora) ?  or should
I re-install every thing from the source ?

Also, if there are some good tutorial on how to write java plugins, that
will help me a lot.
