[collectd] rrdcollect

Hello,
I want to install rrdcollect in this website ,i followed this steps
http://collectd.org/wiki/index.php/First_steps#Starting_the_daemon

Sorry to bother you ,but I need your help to rrdcollect.
I found an error in compilation

client.c: In function 'lcc_version':
client.c: 558: error: expected term before ')' token

make [4]: *** [client.lo] Error 1
make [4]: Leaving directory `/
opt/rrdtool/collectd-5.0.0/src/libcollectdclient '
make [3]: *** [all] Error 2
make [3]: Leaving directory `/
opt/rrdtool/collectd-5.0.0/src/libcollectdclient '
make [2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make [2]: Leaving directory `/ opt/rrdtool/collectd-5.0.0/src '
make [1]: *** [all] Error 2
make [1]: Leaving directory `/ opt/rrdtool/collectd-5.0.0/src '
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

I solved the error by commenting on the function and it works

but to begin daemon,i get this error :

[root at inca-26 collectd]# ./sbin/collectd
configfile: stat (/opt/collectd/etc/.conf) failed: No such file or directory
Unable to read config file /opt/collectd/etc/.conf.
Error: Reading the config file failed!
Read the syslog for details.
