[collectd] Getting errors while trying to compile collectd in Windows via Cygwin

Hello all,
    While trying to 'make' collectd source code in Windows via Cygwin, getting link errors like :

.libs/collectd.exeS.o:collectd.exeS.c:(.data+0x2244): undefined reference to `_c_isupper'
.libs/collectd.exeS.o:collectd.exeS.c:(.data+0x224c): undefined reference to `_c_isxdigit'
.libs/collectd.exeS.o:collectd.exeS.c:(.data+0xf6c): undefined reference to `__libssh2_channel_free'
.libs/collectd.exeS.o:collectd.exeS.c:(.data+0xf74): undefined reference to `__libssh2_channel_locate'.

Any suggestions/pointers would be helpful.
