I haven't heard of anyone doing that before. I wouldn't expect much
troubles from compiling the daemon itself -- that's just "a few" lines
of C99 code -- but I'd expect some trouble from compiling and/or using
many/most plugins. E.g., does cygwin provide a /proc interface? That's
were lots of statistics come from on Linux. For plugins using third
party libraries (e.g., most plugins collecting stuff from other services
like PostgreSQL) I don't expect much problems if that library is
available.

Anyway, make sure to share any experience/problems you encounter ;-)
