Right, but as far as I could see, github.com does not really support
mirrors ...

... the last commit in that repo was on January 7 so that seems to be
kept in sync manually. repo.or.cz in turn automatically updates mirrors
on an hourly base. I'm not sure though how forks are handled in that
respect but I guess they would have to be synced manually as well.
Anyway, from my point of view, any repo that can be pulled from
anonymously would be equally fine ;-)
