[collectd] Collectd sending metrics data directly over the wire w/o read/write to file ? Any Plugins ?

Hi,

Is there an option through which collectd daemon can send the collected
metrics data directly over the wire without logging it into the file ??

My requirement does not allow me to read and write from a file. Is there any
plugin or some built-in switch already for such requirement ?
