As I see it, it is just introducing abstraction that's not adding any
value. What might be useful, is a function (maybe a plugin)
that parses files like /proc/<pid>/status or /proc/acpi/battery/*/state
('name: value' lines) and uses selected values - then the Linux-ACPI
plugins (battery, thermal) could be reduced to couple of lines each.
