You can patch mailgraph to write to the socket provided by the email-plugin
instead of its own rrd-files.

There should not be any differences. The actual logic which parses the data
would be the same in both cases. The email-plugin is actually quite stupid.
All it does is reading the data provided by external programs and write it to
its rrd-files. It does _no_ parsing jobs.
