[collectd] Client/Server mode with dynamic IP

Hello, all,

Is there a good way to make collectd in client mode play nicely with
dynamic IP's?  I have a couple of machines that I want to monitor
network traffic on, but since they have dynamic IP's the data
directory on my server-mode machine keeps changing from

/var/lib/collectd/<old-ip>
to
/var/lib/collectd/<new-ip>

each time the IP address of the client machine changes.  Is there a
way to specify that remote data directory in the client-side config
file?
