I would like to install collectd on a Solaris 5.10 / SPARC<br>
[ root@wwwdev:/ ]# uname -ra<br>
SunOS wwwdev 5.10 Generic_147440-01 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V440<br>

When seeing the available packages on
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://collectd.org/download.shtml#solaris">http://collectd.org/download.shtml#solaris</a>, I see that "only"
collectd 4.6.2 is available, and for Solaris 5.10 / x86_64.<br>
BTW, 4.6.2 is a 4+ years release now.<br>

Unfortunately, there is no package available on SunFreeware so that
I have to compile it from source.<br>

Have you got some tip & tricks about installing some recent
collectd installation on Solaris 5.10 / SPARC?<br>
There is on link I found:

but its quite old by now and if you have some more recent
