<div>you're probably using a DERIVE or COUNTER data source. So RRDtool calculates the rate (derivative) of your values:</div>
<ul>
<li>4 - 1 = 3</li>
<li>9 - 4 = 5</li>
<li>16 - 9 = 7</li>
<li>…</li>
</ul><div>If you enable <i>StoreRates</i> in the CSV plugin, you should get the same values there as well.</div>
