Thanks. Is there an official patch to support LAST or is it a roll-your-own? Do I need to patch just the server or all of the clients as well? We're using the EPEL version of collectd and I'd rather not vary from that for the clients.<br>

</div>You are correct in the assumption that neither rrdtool nor rrdcached plugins<br>
create LAST RRAs for you. There has been some discussion to improve these<br>
plugins' configurability, and you're most welcome to +1 this. As a<br>
workaround, you can either create the rrds on your own, or use some contrib<br>
scripts in rrdtool dist to add the RRAs tou your existing files.<br>

however, the best would probably be to patch collectd (it's an easy fix).<br>
