Don't know if it already or planned, but IMHO, here is a feature that could be great for collected.<br>

The possibility to split the large monolithic configuration file of collected into smaller parts (in the Debian way) in a conf.d or like repository. Could be very useful to automate configuration file generation with tools like Chef or Puppet</blockquote>
